  • Pay Rate and Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM-17:00PM
  • £9.27 PER HOUR
  • Responsibilities:Duties of the Records Assistant role are detailed below;
  • Records management - filing/ prepping mail
  • Using software and hardware to print materials
  • Using guillotines to cut printed items to size and to a full-bleed (no border around content), laminating materials, binding books and presentations
  • Wire binding
  • Stock monitoring of consumables for the machinery and paper for replenishment
  • Produce mail merges on Microsoft Word
  • Liaise with clients via telephone and email, follow through any with queries in a responsive and efficient manner
  • Providing print quotes by gaining the client requirements
  • Manual handling of stock and storage of stock
  • Process and reproduce a wide range of different content such as simple letter printing, through to name badges, presentation binders, posters, business cards and more.
  • Communicate positively and professionally with customers
  • Problem-solving
  • Actively support and follow the clients environmental, quality and security policies
  • Advising and identifying the best method of production and cost savings
  • Work to deadlines in conformance with client agreements
  • Foster a constructive team working environment and "one team" ethos
  • Working individually and as part of a team to achieve results
  • Encourage a positive, courteous and productive working environment
  • Manual handling of stock up to 25kgs
  • Working with ladders and comfortable with this
  • Requirements:
  • You must have experience in records Assistant or admin.
  • Fantastic teamwork ethic
  • Proactive to keep busy during downtime
  • Great communication skills and understanding of verbal and written English
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong attention to detail skills are essential
  • Excellent attendance levels and positive, polite attitude
  • You will work well both as part of a team and individually
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and remain organised
  • Adaptable, flexible and a team player
  • Fast learner, able to take both positive and constructive feedback.
  • Able to handle difficult situations and act appropriately
  • High level of customer focus - proactive approach to service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and confidence to communicate at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail skills are essential
  • Desirable - Experience within a records management, post room or mail room or within reprographics, experience with Adobe
