Job Description

At Upright Body Renewal you will be a vital part of the team and the welcoming face of our pioneering Health Clinic in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.This is a rare opportunity to join our small and friendly team as a receptionist/administrator in our busy chiropractic clinic.This role involves frequent contact with patients and practitioners and requires excellent communication and organisation skills. Experience of working in a medical environment is preferable.Responsibilities:

  • Create a great first impression and provide assistance for our patients whenever necessary.
  • Provide a professional, confidential service whether by phone, email, social media or face-to-face.
  • The clinic is open-plan therefore professionalism and sociability are essential.
  • Main duties will include managing the chiropractors diaries, booking appointments, communicating with patients and taking payments.
  • Manage all payment types, resolve queries professionally, and update records in a timely manner.
  • Deal with any patient disputes/ feedback, take ownership of the situation and report back to management.
  • Ad-hoc duties as & when required to assist the chiropractors.
  • Your commitment:
  • Current opening hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm weekdays.
  • You will be required for 4 - 5 full working days.
  • Specific requirements of the successful candidate:
  • Previous reception/administration experience essential.
  • Excellent sense of patient service preferably developed in a client-facing role.
  • Strong communication & organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Sound admin and computer skills, with the confidence to learn new systems & databases quickly.
  • Comfortable to work alone while being part of a friendly and committed team.
  • A can-do attitude to your work and problem-solving.
  • A good eye for detail process administration.
  • Immediate start would be preferable.
  • All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
