Job Description

RE TeacherRE Teacher required to join a progressive Birmingham Secondary School. Are you a QTS RE Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity within an outstanding RE Department This busy school are looking to add an ambitious and driven RE Teacher to the team.A passion for all things RE and Ethics, and a love for teaching is essential for this role. The school have a small and dedicated team of RE Teachers, who are determined to inspire a love for RE and maintain the departments status as outstanding.As a RE Teacher you will be hold full planning and marking responsibilities and teach across Key Stages 3 & 4 with some exposure to KS5. Behaviour is generally good, and there is a willingness to learn from most students. You will have access to a wide rangeof resources and the HOD is focused on providing a high level of support to all RE teachers. This role requires a teacher who has a brilliant subject knowledge and is able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and inspiring lessons. You must be a QTS or QTLSRE teacher to be considered for this role.Job Role:

  • Teaching across the RE curriculum to Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
  • Leading GCSE RE booster sessions for students that require additional support
  • Working in unison with the HOD and RETeachers to plan outstanding lessons
  • Breaking down barriers to education and making RE accessible to all students
  • Inspiring a love for RE!
