Quantity Surveyor | Midlands | Circa £50k + package Highly accredited contractor, extremely collaborative team environment and £120 monthly uplift on salary to aide with the cost of living - sound interestingI am working with a main contractor who are expanding their team due to a huge pipeline of work coming their way and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead on their refurbishment schemes.The Company From the early days of being a specialist EWI contractor they have now developed into a main contractor handling refurbishment schemes on behalf of housing associations. Their geographical patch spreads across the Midlands and South Wales.The Role You will have full commercial responsibility for refurbishment schemes from £1.5m to £10m including EWI, re-roofing, new windows and doors, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and kitchen and bathroom refits.The team is currently made up of another Quantity Surveyor and an Apprentice Surveyor who you will help in training to become a fully fledged QS.The PersonThey are open on whether you are from a main or sub contractor background, but ideally you will have held a QS role for the past 5 years.If you have a degree then that is a plus, but they also encourage those who are experience lead to apply.
