Job Description

My Birmingham based client is looking for and experience Quality Manager with a Ironmongery / Hardware background to join their team as they continue to expand and grow their business.Benefits:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and obtain ISO 9001/ 14001 certifications and other accredited standards.
  • Manage and enforce quality compliance standards internally and with overseas suppliers meeting our ethical sourcing code and standards.
  • Manage and ensure that our processes can bring products to market to meet regulatory/ legal/ customer requirements and provide conforming products.
  • Undertake responsibility to create relevant processes, flowcharts, policies, procedures.
  • Manage customers technical audit and/ or SMETA on companys behalf
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to site quality systems and standards.
  • Manage administrative systems and handle customer complaints.
  • Ensure that product meets specification and that product certification objectives are attained.
  • Conduct daily product inspections
  • Attend daily meetings to provide accurate information facilitating audits.
  • Assist in the enforcement of all Health and safety programs and work closely with stakeholders.
  • Manage complete customer satisfaction- Returns/ Recall/ Continual Improvement
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Ironmongery/ Hardware Industry background would be an advantage but not essential
