Job Description

Job Title: Quality Engineer - Electrical (Ref:19439)Location: Birmingham Package: £32k - £35kJob Type: Full Time / Permanent The Role SummaryAn exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Quality Engineer to join their team based at their Birmingham site. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager you will monitor compliance and where outputs do not achieve the input requirements, support Operationsand Engineering teams to create positive change, and ensure customer and business goals are met.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative working across all teams including internal and external stake holders.
  • Correct Interpretation of Drawings, Schematics, Technical Specifications, Quality Plans.
  • Quality Compliance Monitoring, Training & Development.
  • Route Cause Corrective Action (RCCA/8D/ECNs).
  • Effective concerns closure to prevent recurrence.
  • Provision of Exceptional Customer Service.
  • Dock Audit & Release Certification Signatory.
  • Measurement Systems Analysis, Calibration and Control.
  • Support Quality Deliverables on-Time-in-Full.
  • Quality & Delivery Performance Improvement.
  • Contract Review (Quality Aspects).
  • Provision of Monthly KPI to Compliance Management.
The Candidate:
  • 3 years Time-Served Electrical Test Engineer City & Guilds or similar.
  • IPC 610/IPC620 trained.
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certified
  • 8D / RCCA trained
  • ISO9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor
  • Exceptional customer facing / customer service experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Science 2.1
  • Drawing interpretation GDT to BS8888
  • British citizenship required/no dual nationalities
