Job Description

Our client is aleading manufacturer of high-performance titanium products, serving industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and chemical processing. With a history of excellence spanning several decades, they are committed to producing top-qualitytitanium materials and components that contribute to the advancement of technology and innovation.They are seeking aQuality Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our titanium products through effective quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Functions:

  • Daily activity to confirm Quality records and control plans are being maintained.
  • Responsible for daily activities that support product release at stage.
  • Control the Quality of all product types through all stages at the specific site.
  • To investigate and action all non-standards including sub-contractors
  • Support root cause analysis for major non-standard events and instigate actions as part of the regular area non-standards meetings
  • Regularly confirm process control and machine capabilities using SOP’s, control plans and diagnostics to confirm daily process adherence
  • Support in all site yield activities
  • To maintain and improve the current calibration control system for all measuring equipment.
  • Support final product release in close out of Non-standard issues and actions
Knowledge/Qualification/Education:
  • HNC/Degree in materials science/engineering
  • Ideally, Titanium Metallurgy experience
  • Knowledge of Tableau software package
  • Problem solving skills
  • Route cause analysis / 8D techniques

  • Must maintain highest level of honesty and integrity
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to logically analyse problems and derive practical solutions, have good organisational skills, be able to communicate at all levels through the business
  • Be able to work under pressure and support the business in process conformance issues
  • Can work effectively with cross functional work groups and build relationships
