Job Description

Our client who are a leading UK manufacturer of engineering plastic materials, components and composites to a wide range of industries which include aerospace, electrical, transport and general engineering.Currently our client have the following vacancy based at their Birmingham head office as a Quality Assurance Assistant.

  • Working safely in a laboratory, maintaining excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment, and risk management systems;
  • Adhere to set procedures and quality systems
  • Plan and organise test materials and specimens
  • Batch testing raw and finished materials to specifications
  • Using of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment
  • Producing reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results
  • Analysing, interpreting and evaluating data and identify results requiring further investigation seeking advice of senior colleagues as appropriate;
As Quality Assurance Assistant you will be expected to:The candidate must have the following skills:
  • No previous experience necessary, however youll have a willingness to learn and follow strict protocols and processes, embrace health and safety, as well as ensure all paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
The candidate will ideally have experience in the following areas:
  • You will have 5 GCSEs including Maths, English, and a Science grade 4-9 or equivalent standard as well as 3 A- levels one in a Science subject (predicted or actual).
  • You must have the logical ability to solve problems in a timely manner, and the ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
  • You will be able to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • You must be self-driven and have an enthusiastic approach to work, a desire to succeed and a willingness to listen and learn.
  • Be a team player.
Additional details:Hours are 36.5 per week 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday-Thursday, with a 30 minute lunch break, and 8.00am to 12.30pm on Fridays.Salary:£10.00 per hour.Start date:Immediate start following a succesful interview.Interested Then please call today asking for Chris onalternatively email a copy of CV.Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include:
