Job Description

The QA Analyst will play a lead role in testing system functioning whilst supporting the scoping and defining on new business requirements.As an experience QA Analyst / Tester you will adhere to the Testing Practices and Processes across the whole of Solution Delivery, encompassing UAT, test strategies, and creation of test cases.Responsibilities

  • Represent the testing functionality on Waterfall or Agile projects.
  • Ensuring the quality of the testing being conducted in relation to the functional areas of the system and/or entire projects is adequate.
  • Contribute to the support of analysis and planning for software development
  • Define and input test data into the test environment ensuring accuracy of data before use.
  • Interpret and prioritise business requirements to create test plans and scripts following requirements document or User Stories defined by Analysts.
  • Propose improvements to Testing procedures.
  • Conduct relevant Business Analysis (requirements gathering / defining user requirements / user stories etc.) to support new software business cases
  • Provide input into test estimates, Test Approach and Test Report documentation.
    • Skills
  • Knowledge of project lifecycles including Waterfall and Agile, how testing approaches delivery depending on requirements
  • ISTQB/ISEB qualified
  • Test Management, Integration, System and User Acceptance, Regression, Browser Compatibility, and Operation Acceptance Testing.
  • Understanding of JIRA, Testrail, Confluence, JHC Figaro
  • Working knowledge of test tools for Automation and Non-Functional - Selenium, Jmeter
  • Proficient using all Microsoft tools
  • Strong knowledge of all forms of software testing
  • Excellent understanding of development lifecycle
  • Ability to work in a team but also be able to self-motivate under limited supervision
  • Good customer service skills to support both internal and external customers
