Job Description

Proposition Planning Manager - SMELocation - Birmingham 2 days a week and remote 6 Months Contract Up to £270 per day - Umbrella Summary:The commercial and proposition team for SME is responsible for setting and delivering the business plan for the segment by creating the right portfolio and the right commercial/trading plan to deliver the business and customer outcomes to win in the marketand grow the business profitably.Key Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively across colleagues in the immediate planning team and more widely across the proposition community in SME (and with adjacent teams in SoHo and CPS) and with the delivery teams in Customer Solutions.
  • Taking inputs from propositions that originate from all the proposition teams to have a clear view of what is happening when in which sales channel and for which customer group in SME. Being clear on order, groupings and dependencies. Maintaining this ina clear easy to understand format and staying in synchronisation with the delivery teams.
  • Prioritising the investments in the SME Annual investment plan to ensure we have a brilliant proposition roadmap to underpin the MTP.
  • Co-ordinating and ensuring brilliant execution of all launch activity into SME (proposition launches, pricing and marketing campaigns).
  • Running the key proposition forums that decide which concepts we back and then track the go to market content / readiness until we get to launch.
  • Own the proposition planning inputs - calling out changes and working with props and delivery colleagues to seize opportunities and mitigate risk
  • Key point of co-ordination on proposition related business cases - working closely with the planning manager for investment cases in the planning team.
Required Skills & Experiences
  • Experience in customer propositions (go to market plans, launches) or working as product or project manager as part of launches
  • Experience of working in a high volume/mass market trading environment (e.g. SME or Consumer) hydraulics, market(s), customers, and competitors.
  • Experience of working in a matrixed environment and leading a virtual team
  • Experience of working in UK B2B telecoms
