Job Description

RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supplying experienced practitioners on a temporary, contractual or permanent basis to the Law Enforcement, Cyber Security, Offender Management and Regulatory Services talent markets.RSR Police are currently recruiting for Project Support Assistants to be based in Birmingham Central as a part of team to deliver a project sorting, centralising and rationalising detained property and crime files for investigations. This role sits withthe Information Management team is responsible for the project management of a centralised system for a local police force.This roles is a temporary 6 month contract working Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm. The rate of pay for this role is £10.51 per hour PAYE.Main Duties:

  • Work as part of a collaborative goal orientated team focused on achieving outcomes for the project and internal customers
  • Travelling to police locations within the central region of Birmingham to undertake duties
  • Assist with the review, rationalising and sorting of items to include detained property and case files in line with the project goals
  • Work safely in an environment wearing the appropriate PPE provided to include potential heavy lifting
  • Ensuring the customer experience is at the center of the services delivered
  • Assist in the provision of first class, multi-channel, customer focused services
  • Ensuring the customer experience is at the center of the service delivered and that all transactions and services are delivered right first time, on time and in the simplest way
Essential Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of what excellent service delivery looks and feels like
  • Experience of following set processes, procedures and policies, specifically DP, CPIA and MoPI
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Experience of working in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of what ingredients are needed for effective teamwork
  • Goal orientated, achieves outcomes for customers - is customer and outcome focussed
  • Work effectively with another team member to ensure consistent service delivery to all customers
  • Inquisitive, flexible and adaptable.
  • Able to learn new processes and systems quickly and effectively.
  • Good communication skills, as this role involves a level of face to face interaction with both officers and police staff
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and deliver results in a highly pressured environment
  • IT literate, including the effective use of MS Office.
