Job Description

Climate17 are working closely with a leading independent power generation specialist with more than three decades of experience in building, owning and operating smart generation systems such as solar PV, battery storage and hydrogen-ready gas generationsolutions.They are actively searching for a Project Manager to be part of a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of their new Battery projects. Other project types including Gas projects could also be required.Responsibilities

  • Project Management of all aspects of construction, including civil, Mechanical, and electrical installation and commissioning.
  • Planning, Risk Management, Budget Control, Health and Safety / CDM, Time Management of each project
  • A mix of site, home, and office-based duties.
  • Involvement with all aspects of Electrical Design, Installation and commissioning including interaction with all third-party designers, consultants & contractors for all Energy Storage projects.
  • Involvement with Controls system Designs, including interaction with all third-party designers and consultants for all Energy Storage and Gas related projects.
  • Involvement with ICP contractors throughout the project timeframe
  • Involvement with INDO & DNO throughout the project timeframe
  • Direct involvement in the technical relationship with the Battery Energy Storage supplier
  • Direct involvement & interaction with the Electrical Manager during all phases of the project life
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience in Project management
  • Experience in cradle-to-grave Project management within the UK renewable energy sector with a good overall experience within the energy storage (Battery) sector.
  • A good track record of dealing with multi trade site operations and the control of project Planning, Time management, good communication, risk management, Budget control, Health & Safety and CDM Regs.
  • A good understanding of LV (AC & DC) power system
  • A basic understanding of HV (33 - 132kVA) power system
  • Microsoft Project
  • AutoCAD - 2D
