Great communications is key to the delivery of our work in this area and were looking for an exceptional communicator to work with us to lead on the development of innovative campaigns, effective stakeholder engagement with our partners, and raise the profile of the work we do.Your role will be to maximise impact, engagement, and reach of the Productivity and Skills activity by providing a strategic approach to communication activity - including media, digital communications, and marketing campaigns - that is proactively planned around known events and aligned with broader regional context. This will involve developing a comprehensive forward planner of events, initiatives, and communications, ensuring that the most effective and appropriate communication strategies and approaches are deployed to support the work of the Productivity and Skill Directorate and lead the development and delivery of the Directorates overall communications strategy and specific tactical communications plans across all areas of jobs and skills activity.The role is being offered on a six-month temporary basis.About youAn accomplished Communications extraordinaire, youll have a solid background in public relations campaign planning and evaluation with experience of delivering communications across all disciplines, including media and public relations, marketing and campaigns, and digital and social media. Youll have the confidence and gravitas to get things done and be able to work effectively with colleagues in our Communications Team.
