Production Team Leader / SupervisorBirmingham, West MidlandsOur client has been proudly supporting jewellers across the country since 1918, with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. They form part of one of Europes largest refiners and processors of precious metals.Based in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, they are a friendly, well-established but growing business of 280 employees. With almost 60% of employees having worked with them for over 5 years, why not come and join the teamThey are currently looking to recruit a hands-on Production Team Leader / Supervisor to lead the team and manage all day to day activities in the melt house.What youll be doing:- Managing the order book and issuing work to the operatives, troubleshooting problems.- Liaising with other production departments and supervisors- Managing the team - training, appraisals and investigations as required.- Leading monthly stock takes- Developing and reviewing procedures to maximise precious metal yield and recovery- Administration - Preparing requisitions for raw materials and engineering consumablesWhat youll need to bring to the show:- Previous experience of supervising a production team.
