Job Description

Production ManagerFood ManufacturingBirminghamOur client is a Food Manufacturer based in Birmingham who is currently looking to recruit for a Production Manager.As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing manufacturing and production processes within this Food environment
  • Driving optimal labour utilisation, to focus on yield, damage, OEE and PDP and be audit ready every day.
  • Ensuring that Quality and Environmental Management Systems are followed and that BRC accreditation is maintained
  • Recruit, train and develop operatives, who reflect the Company.
  • Developing a continuous improvement culture and execute action plans.
Successful candidates will:
  • Have a proven background in Food Manufacturing
  • Ideally have worked with Short Shelf Life Products previously
  • Have a history of developing and mentoring teams
  • Be a self-starter
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
