We are recruiting for temp-to-perm positions for a highly successful manufacturing business in the South Birmingham area, easily accessible from the areas of Kings Norton, Quinton and Bartley Green. Free parking is available.Due to the location, all applicants for our Production Labourer vacancy will ideally live local (in order to be able to return home after 12 midnight) or have your own car.This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills within the production industry, starting from grass roots up. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for loading and offloading heavy duty machinery, quality inspection, and facilitating a smooth flow of materials throughout the factory floor.Hours of work for our Production Labourer re 0700-1500 / 1530- midnight; you will rotate between these shift patterns weekly.Rate of pay will be £9.00 per hour.There will be temp to perm opportunities available upon completion of 12 weeks.Duties for our production labourer vacancy will include;- Material handling of raw materials including glass and metals - as such you will need to be comfortable with lifting up to 20kg- Machine minding to ensure that heat treatment machinery to ensure that they are running correctly and do not require maintenance support- Use of very basic hand tools and measuring equipment- Basic housekeeping and hygiene duties.If you are interested in applying for our Production Labourer vacancy, please click to apply or alternatively email .
