Full time, long term, ongoing work - Temp to Perm role based in B32Potential Earnings of over £550 per week!Award winning company with excellent training and team environment.We are really excited to be recruiting for a long-term role with earning potential of £10.57 per hour and plenty of overtime. The role is for a hard-working Automotive Production Assembler to join a key automotive supplier, located in the South Birmingham area.The company is a highly respected manufacturer of car parts and roof frame solutions, as well as building frames for several major automotive brands. We do normally require applicants for this role to hold at least 12 months experience in a previous or similarrole, although world-class candidates without will be considered.This is a Monday to Friday role; working 0600-1600 / 1600- 0200 rotating weekly. Of these 50 hours per week, 10 of these are paid at least £11.73 per hour!What can they offer you Well, the company will offer a starting rate of £9.02 per hour to all Production Assemblers and this subject to a sliding scale of quick, attractive salary reviews depending on your performance. These, on average, can see you earninga base rate of £10.57. On top of this you will receive x2 compulsory hours of overtime per day at a rate of time plus one third.When you add all this up; the potential here is to be earning over £550 per week!But theres more! Further overtime will be paid at time and a half for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week - and double time for Sundays and Bank Holidays! There is also free parking and you will receive innovative, industry leading training withinan automotive environment.In order to be successful for this Production Assembler position, candidates must bring the following attributes:- Proven background on a fast-paced automated track/ assembly line- Ability to use a range of hand tools (e.g. power drills, glue guns) and industrial equipment (e.g. pop rivet guns)- Ability to carry out the tasks expected of a Production Assembler whilst meeting strict build targets)- Experienced with running machinery (e.g. press machines, laser welding machines, CNC)- Comfortable with working from basic technical drawings & having a keen eye for detail (quality inspection is a huge part of your initial role)- Understanding of automotive principles (e.g. 5s) would be advantageous but not essentialFinally; In order to be successful for this position, you must complete a clean drug and alcohol test.If you feel this role is something which you feel you can shine and want to grow a really fantastic career, please do not hesitate to click below and apply.
