Production Assembler - Fantastic working environment£10.50-£13.50 per hourImmediate ongoing long term work 08:00am-17:00pmSeeking experienced Production Assemblers to work for a leading company!Are you looking for a long-term position with a starting rate of £11.00 - £13.50 per hour, with plenty of opportunities to work overtime We are recruiting for a driven and well established company, located in the Central Birmingham area.This is a renowned global manufacturer, where you will be building, cooling, heating and air conditioning components for all of their key customers. They are a progressive, fast-paced production group, offering great potential for progression. All applicantsfor this role MUST hold at least 12 months experience as an Assembly Operative / Machine Operator in previous roles.In turn, the company will offer a starting rate of £11.00 - £13.50 per hour.Working hours will run from 08:00am-17:00pm rotating weekly (Monday to Friday).The company are looking to offer long-term positions within a dynamic, team-focussed environment, with excellent amenities including a canteen and free public parking facilities. Candidates will also receive industry leading training within a manufacturingenvironment.In order to be a successful Production Assembler, candidates must bring the following attributes:- Ability to use a range of hand tools (e.g. power drills, glue guns) and industrial equipment (e.g. pop rivet guns)- Proven background on a fast-paced production environment- Experienced with running machinery within the sheet metal and fabrication industry.- Ability to carry out the tasks expected of a Production Assembler whilst meeting strict build targets)- Comfortable with working from basic technical drawings & having a keen eye for detail (quality inspection is a huge part of your initial role)- Understanding of high level of production principles (e.g. 5s) would be advantageous but not essentialIf you feel that you hold relevant experience for our Production Assembler role, please dont hesitate to click below to apply or alternatively call Pertemps Birmingham Industrial, Hagley Court.
