Job Description

Due to their continued growth and transformation, this Birmingham based technology company has an exciting opportunity for a brand new Product Marketing Manager role. Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will partner closely with product development,marketing, and sales to understand the product strategy and fit, define use cases, understand competitive offerings and articulate value propositions for the companys key target audiences.The primary responsibility of this role is to create demand for the brands products and services through the development and execution of effective Go-To-Market strategies.The successful candidate will have a passion for products and the interest and ability to take product details and shape customer facing, market leading messaging and content.You will be customer obsessed and responsible for initiating and leading various go-to-market initiatives including market and customer research, competitive analysis, product positioning and messaging, content creation, sales enablement.Person Profile

  • Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a marketing qualification e.g. CIM
  • Sector experience/technology background massively beneficial.
  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager.
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms, Google Marketing Platform and HubSpot (CRM, CMS and Marketing Hub).
  • Good working knowledge of SEO practices. Ability to monitor, build and execute plans to improve product SEM/ranking performance. Proficient with SEMrush or equivalent.
  • Ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives. GTM strategy and execution.
  • Excellent market research skills and the ability to gain insight into the customers needs and experiences.
  • Excellent copywriting and design skills to produce compelling sales material for both online and offline media. Proficient with Adobe Creative suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills for evaluating and discovering effective marketing strategies.
  • Experienced in executing competitor and market analysis.
