However solid grasp and experience of leading full procurement exercises through to contract award and launch is essential.This organisation are keen to support your development, they’ll support you to achieve your CIPS qualification (if you don’t have it already) and have an established pathway of progression opportunities across the business.You’ll need to be brave and astute enough to negotiate and hold providers accountable. A robust procurement process should deliver a clear defined agreement to be managed.A background in public sector procurement would be highly desirable, or good experience of all aspects of procurement.
