PRINCIPAL TOWN PLANNER - WEST MIDLANDS PERMANENT - £36,360 - £52,152ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Town Planner to join a major infrastructure client’s team to be based in West Midlands.We are looking for a RTPI planner with significant experience and currently working to a senior or principal level. You will be working either in a consultancy or local authority position. You will need to have experience of working on major planning applications within infrastructure or large housing or commercial developments planning process and will have had your own case load. Ideally you will have experience of Section 17 application and Environmental Impact Assessments, however this is not essential.Our client is a well-known major infrastructure organisation and you would be overseeing planning applications made for the work on the programme of works. Applications will be made by a contractor delivering the work, with oversight and assurance checks by yourself. You will also need to travel to sites and local authorities at times, as this position will require stakeholder involvement.This position will be based in their Birmingham office, but working from home for the moment. There will be some travel to either site, the contractor’s office or local authorities. Ideally you will drive for this role, however they can work with you on this.Salary for this position is between £36,320 and £51,152 per annum.
