Job Description

A global law firm is looking for a Lead Power Platform Developer to join its technology solutions team in Birmingham.You will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of work being carried out within the Technical Delivery Team. They’re looking for an experienced developer with strong knowledge and experience across the full engineering lifecycle; translating businessrequirements, designing intuitive Power Platform based solutions (Apps, Automate, Virtual Agents, etc) and integrating these across a number of applications.This is a Hybrid Monday to Friday role, with a minimum of three days (two of these days have to be Tuesday & Thursday) working from the clients Birmingham office.As Lead Power Platform Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Business Relationship Managers, Product Owners, and Solution Managers to understand requirements and translate them into Power Platform based solutions.
  • Completing and presenting High-Level Designs of these solutions.
  • Working alongside Delivery/Operations, Offshore and/or Third-Party Development Teams to build/deploy solutions for use across the business.
  • Developing, customising, and configuring Power Apps, Automate or Virtual Agents and related cloud/Azure technologies via APIs, etc with other off the shelf best of breed software solutions.
We are looking for a Lead Power Platform Developer with the following skills and experience:
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Power Apps, Automate, Virtual Agents and how to integrate between these and different technologies.
  • Experience with DAX, data modelling, etc.
  • Experience using Azure and how components come together when designing solutions.
  • Tech skills include .Net, SQL Server, relationship database modelling including the understanding and design, API’s, etc.
  • A strong understanding of the broader Microsoft stack including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, DevOps, etc.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with technical teams and non-technical project teams.
