Financial Controller£55,000 - £65,000 DOE25 days holidays plus bank holidays, car allowance, quarterly bonus, private medical and dental, up to 8% matched pensionMonday to Friday, 8.30am4.30pm BirminghamAre you a fully CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified finance professional Have you worked in a manufacturing environment If so, our client, a leading manufacturer of titanium-based metal products, is looking for a Financial (Plant) Controller for their site in Birmingham.The role will involve working closely with the Manufacturing Department to understand financial performance of each team and to forecast company performance.Financial ControllerThe Financial Controller will have the following responsibilities:Job Description

  • Being responsible for daily and weekly reporting, forecasting, inventory management and month end reporting activities.
  • Developing and implementing effective plant controlling, forecasting, measurement & KPI techniques.
  • Having a full understanding of the companys schedules and ensuring that all divisional reporting requirements for the site are delivered on time.
  • Working with cross-functional plant management and teams to deliver the required reports and to design projects that help deliver underlying tangible benefits for the plant.
  • Undertaking the review, preparation, and ownership of the MOR Schedules.
  • Assisting with implementing efficiencies & value improvements with plants teams & improved working practices.
  • Being involved in Capital expenditures assessments and applications.
  • Managing the total inventory and the associated FCA and EBIT impacts by providing appropriate measurement & management tools in liaison with the plant team.
Financial ControllerThe Financial Controller will require the following essential skills/experienceEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Fully CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified finance professional.
  • Previous experience working within manufacturing.
  • MS Office - Advanced excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system.
