PHP Developer- Birmingham- 30-40kWho your manager is should be one of your top considerations when looking for a new role.You want someone who is going to help you to develop. But also support you in the tough times and have your back. In this role, your manager will be an amazing mentor for you. You will be working as a PHP Developer for an in house team. They have big plans of redeveloping systems and building new ones from scratch using mostly, PHP, Laravel and React. You might not know react or Laravel yet but you will get the opportunity to learn. Longer-term you will be able to have a say in future tech stacks, they are considering things like Golang or Node,js.As well as learning new tech there are progression opportunities as well to senior and Lead Developer and your manager will help set out a plan of how you can get there making the whole process as transparent as possible. The systems you develop are also doing some good. It will help 1,000s of students gain access to courses online.Ideally, you will be a PHP Developer with around 2 years+ experience.
