Photographer and VideographerBirmingham6 months£450-500 pd Umbrella My client is an established Rail company who has an exciting opportunity for a Photographer and Videographer to join them on an initial 6 months contract. The role is based out of their Birmingham offices and will require the successful candidate to travel across the UK. Ultimately, as a Photographer and Videographer you will provide a quick turnaround to capture the progress on new and exciting projects for a variety of audiences. This will predominantly be at construction sites along the line of route hence, will involve extensive UK travel. It will also include corporate or community events along with work involving key stakeholders or industry partners.The Videography work will be largely reportage but may also involve setting up shoots on location or at the company offices for use across all external and internal platforms. The videography work will involve recording footage of construction sites, milestone moments as well as interviews with individuals for editing and subtitling into short reports. Photographer & Videographer DUTIES:+ Deliver photography and videography that tells the story of company progress+ Produce a regular drum-beat of appropriate images, film and footage - both reportage and staged shoots+ Provide quick turn around photography and film as and when required+ Set up photographic equipment, take photos, undertake retouching and editing as required + Create videos by using the company video template in line with guidelines + Support the Creative Team in their capturing, editing, delivering of photography and videoPhotography & Videography SKILLS:+ Ideally, exposure to working with photo and film at Construction sites - + Professional corporate photography and videography skills + Ability to work within brand guidelines+ Skills in translating messages into strong on-brand images and video reports+ Project management skills - able to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines+ Knowledge of professional imaging techniques, equipment and software+ Knowledge of standards of security and safety on construction sites+ Knowledge of brand storytelling via photography and moving image+ Knowledge of copyright, music licencing, GDPR and other laws that relate to photography and video + Skills in working with creative suppliers, in-house creative teams, agencies to deliver on requirements+ History of producing high quality, compliant same-day photography and videography+ Skilled in delivering end to end video reports - writing, subtitling, editing with music If interested and you match the criteria above, please send your CV in the first instance for immediate consideration.
