Job Description

You will be joining a team of 450 staff, who represent highly successful brands such as Parasol, ClearSky, SJDAccountancy and Nixon Williams.Through our brands, we specialise in managing tax, employment, accountancy and legislative compliance for the UKs small businesses and contingent workforce - our solutions are market leading, and were always looking out for the best possible employees.The Optionis Group are looking for a Pensions and Payroll Administrator to join our busy team in ensuring the accuracy of our payroll service.Responsibilities within the role include but arent limited to:

  • Working in a team to ensure payroll submissions are accurate and executed within agreed service levels.
  • Supporting with the weekly and monthly reporting
  • Supporting with the monthly reconciliation of pension contributions and AOE
  • Answering payroll queries from employees and internal departments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Resolve queries with HMRC
What we are looking for:
  • A payroll professional with experience of working in a busy payroll team, ideally within an umbrella company or PEO provider.
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Ability to support the business to deliver a quality service
  • Understanding of pensions (auto enrolment and salary sacrifice)
  • An ability to resolve enquiries from external employees
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Flexible and logical approach to all payroll related issues and processing
