Job Description

Payroll Manager - Retail – Temporary 6-12 MonthsAre you an experienced Payroll Manager experienced in ITrentIf so, we’d love to hear from you!Here at Signet Trading Ltd we have a new temporary fixed-term contract opportunity available for a Payroll Manager to join us to support our busy HR Service Centre through what will be a demanding period. As Payroll Manager you’ll support our in-house HR Service Centre and our outsourced payroll service provider in ensuring that information is correct for each monthly payroll. As we continue to experience furloughs for large numbers of our workforce during the lockdown period we need to ensure all payroll data is correct for our 3500 employees across our 350 stores and 2 support centres.About YouWere looking for suitable applicants to be experienced in the following:

  • Experience of using the ITrent / Midland HR system
  • High proficiency of knowledge in payroll rules and regulations for the UK, EIRE, Isle of Man, Jersey, and Guernsey tax regimes
  • Experience of processing payroll data for furloughed workers and an up-to-date understanding of the furlough / job support schemes currently in place and the government guidance around these.
    • This role will be largely home-based with a requirement to spend 1-2 days per week in the Birmingham office once the forthcoming lockdown comes to an end. Be part of something special!
