Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent this successful and busy practice business in the Birmingham area, who due to continued business success, are now seeking to appoint a capable and experienced Payroll Bureau Manager. This position is ideallysuited to someone in an existing Payroll Manager role or a senior payroll specialist now seeking more autonomy and the next step in their payroll career. This is an excellent role responsible for two small payroll teams across two sites, where you can reallymake your mark and build upon and expand your payroll team/division in the future.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Responsible for the management and control of the payroll services across two practice sites within the area, dealing with the payroll processing end to end for both weekly & monthly payrolls, overseeing your team.Dealing with both internal and external liaison with clients, team members and providers, building strong relationshipsRecruit, manage, mentor and train member of the payroll teamManaging payroll based compliance workBACS paymentsDealing and overseeing auto enrolment pension processingRTI filing end of year processingClient liaison, dealing with queries and providing services adviceFurlough payment calculation/processingPerson SpecificationPrevious experience within a senior payroll position managing both payroll operations and staffProcessing and overseeing full end to end (monthly & weekly payrolls) experienceProactive and innovative approach to resolving queriesConfident and friendly communication/telephone mannerPrevious payroll management, team supervision experience within a similar role OR a team leader ready for the next step up top a payroll management role with the ability to recruit and manage your own payroll teamsThe successful candidate will possess strong Payroll Bureau/Practice expertise running both weekly and monthly payrolls from end to end, In addition, will possess a friendly and confident telephone manner, able to deal with client enquiries/queries effectivelyproviding advice regarding company services, thereby creating a positive lasting first impressionPackage: to c£40K Negotiable dependent on experience + Benefits + Career development!If you meet the above criteria and would like to find out more wed be delighted to receive your applicationPlease APPLY NOWKenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a marker leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
