Job Description

Our client, based in Birmingham, is currently recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Administrator on a permanent contract.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is negotiable based on experience for this position.The successful candidate must have two years experience of payroll and pensions and experience of iTrent would be desirable.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for the day to day administration of medium to large sized LGPS and Teachers Pension schemes accurately and with no supervision
  • Manage the auto enrolment process and end of year reporting, and all other year end duties
  • Compare monthly payroll and pension reports and investigate/resolve any variance or anomalies
  • Support and assist the Payroll Manager on a daily basis and provide reports as and when requested on payroll and pensions
  • Implement and run new schemes if required
  • Use the pension portal effectively and liaise with pensions providers
  • Act as first point of contact for all pension queries, over the phone and via email
Experience required:
  • Two years experience of payroll and pensions
  • iTrent experience is desirable
