Walters People: Accounts Receivable Administrator - Birmingham - Part-time 22 hours - £22,000 FTE - PermanentIm currently working alongside a leading company in Birmingham in their recruitment of a part time Accounts Receivable Administrator (22-hour week) on a permanent basis. In this role you will be required to work the 22 hours across 5 days. You will be reportingto the Financial Controller, whilst helping the finance team to ensure accurate processing of payments received.Key responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Administrator:* Daily review of bank accounts and allocation of customer receipts to the correct customer account* Maintenance of Aged Debtors spreadsheet* Where relevant, contact customers to request remittance advices and make queries about payments received* Respond to queries into the payments inbox* Work with Credit Control team to understand account balances* Process refund requests* Identify customer accounts with credit balances where refunds are requiredAbout you as the Accounts Receivable Administrator:* Exceptional communication skills are required* A professional approach when speaking to customers and third parties * 1-2 years experience in a similar role* Experience of using Excel at an intermediate level* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * High degree of numeracy * Experience of working with Sage 200 is desirable* Flexible, structured and with high personal integrity* Effective time management and organisational skillsCompany Benefits:* Annual pay increments after review and possible bonus* Pension scheme * 24 days of annual leave rising to 26 days after 12 months* Regular wellbeing training sessions and health cash plan* Helping Hands Days/Voluntary days* Cycle to Work scheme/Climate Perks, to encourage employees to reduce their own carbon emissionsIf you want to be considered for this role, all applicants must submit CVs online or send to
