Job Description

Job Title: Paraplanner Industry: Wealth Management Location: Birmingham Salary: up to £45,000 (negotiable dependent on experience)Job reference: 8862Recruit UK are working with a continuously growing and expanding Wealth Management firm. With offices located around the Midlands and further South, and they are ready to welcome a Paraplanner into their Birmingham office.They put their clients at the heart of everything they do, to ensure they are provided with the highest quality service available when providing holistic financial advice. This company runs their own fund solutions investment committee.You will be supporting the IFA’s with research, analysis and reports. You will have the opportunity to utilize your paraplanner skills and be at the core of the planning process.

  • Research
  • Suitability report compiling and structuring
  • Research and acquire information and comparisons for analysis
  • Point of contact for client queries
  • Work directly with IFA’s
  • Ensuring FCA regulations and compliance are met
  • Producing financial reports
  • Support with ad hoc projects and tasks where required

Skills and experience required:
  • Working towards or hold Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Previous Paraplanning experience
  • Good technical knowledge in a wide range of product areas - pensions, investments, IHT planning, tax planning, protection
  • Ability to multitask
