Painter Temp-PermBirmingham, UK£9.90 p/hour37.5 hoursAre you a Painter nearing the end of your contract and looking for something newWell look no further, as Zeal Recruitment have been chosen to help a well-known social housing and affordable living provider within the West Midlands catchment, recruiting for a Painter on a temporary- permanent basis. As a Painter your duties will include: To maintenance painting and decorating duties. Preparing surfaces by washing, removing imperfections, filling in small holes with correct material. Applying paints as per manufactures guidelines. Ensuring all other surfaces are well protected from paint splashes (dust sheets) Some lifting of furniture may be necessary in order to reach areas that are required to be painted. Accurate materials and time projections Removal and re-fitting of fixtures to ensure all areas that require painting are accessible. Ordering of paint and equipment from business portal. Making sure the area is clean and tidy before leaving. Reporting any found faults and repairs to the maintenance team. The Painter will ideally have: Valid DBS checkBasic acceptable NVQ Level 2 or time-served Full UK Driving Licence Experience of working within void & tenanted properties with social housing sectorThe successful Painter, would be provided with a van and fuel card to enable them to drive to various sites within the Birmingham area.Please apply for this role as a Painter, if you are available immediately or your role is coming to an end.
