Job Description

The Recruitment GroupPackaging Team Leader - £24,749 + Attendance Allowance - Permanent - Aston, BirminghamMonday - Friday - 6am - 2pm (Morning), 2pm - 10pm (Evening)The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Packaging Team Leader working for a Cider making and bottling company based in Aston, Birmingham.The key objective is to have worked in a Supervisory/Team Leading position within a warehouse/manufacturing environment in a previous role.Main Responsibilities

  • Production records to be recorded accurately to ensure complete traceability.
  • Report daily/weekly efficiencies accurately.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed weekly.
  • Follow the weekly production schedule, flagging any issues that may cause disruption.
  • Liaising with the Goods In department ensuring that all stock movement is correct.
  • Ensure correct labelling, weight, measures, and packaging presentation is adhered to.
  • Assist in site fortnightly audits.
  • Report shop floor accidents or near misses and assist in the accident investigation process.
  • Plan and produce weekly/monthly rotas.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience working as a Team Leader/Supervisor within a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment.
  • A strong warehouse/manufacturing background.
  • Able to work shifts which include 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm.
  • Hold a UK drivers license and can commute to Aston, Birmingham.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Counterbalance license is desirable.
  • Flexible to cover a night shift as and when needed.

  • Overtime available - Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 hours.
