Job Description

An exciting opportunity has come about for an PA within a reputable, regional charity organisation within Birmingham City Centre. This is a full time, permanent position with excellent benefits including 30 days holiday plus bank holidays which ispaying 37-45k a year!This role is providing comprehensive support to the CEO in all aspects of their daily work routine. This position is ideal for someone who is already working board level within a charity and has a real passion about working with a non-for profit and helpingothers.The role has traditional elements of a PA including:- Effective diary management and prioritisation of key work- Attending and taking minutes and papers for senior board meetings, including planning and preparation- Coordination of projects managed by the Senior Leadership Team- Drafting correspondence and responses to related issues- Screen all minutes, mail and paperwork and emphasise action points if needed- Manage workflows to meet deadlines for CEO and SLT, ensuring papers are provided for meetings- Provide effective administrative support to members when required- Undertake research and produce summaries and briefings- Arrange appointments, bookings and travel arrangements when necessaryOther responsibilities would include ensuring all data and safety standards are adhered towards as well as working within the policies and procedures of the charity.The candidate needs to be confident, assertive and intuitive. Excellent verbal and communication skills, attention to detail, brilliant interpersonal and organisational skills, and an ability to maintain good working relationships are a must. Confidentiallyand professionality is essential, alongside the ability to work as part of a team.It is fundamental that the candidate has experience supporting at board level for a non for profit or public sector organisation.
