Operations Director - Birmingham Elite People Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Operations Director for an FMCG client of our based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be an experienced established Operations Director with a background of success within FMGC.Aim:Provide outstanding leadership and management, offering direction, challenge, and inspiration, creating a working environment which encourages teamwork, energy and creativity to design and deliver vocational training solutions which meet the needs of individuals and business.Objectives & Responsibilities:· Lead by example, managing and motivating a team to deliver outstanding teaching and learning, providing direction, support, and challenge· Contribute to strategic planning, identifying opportunities for business growth· Ensure financial targets and other agreed targets are met across the business· Implement contracts, identifying resource requirements, potential opportunities, and risks· Manage team workloads to meet goals and deadlines· Allocate and manage resources effectively and efficiently to support delivery aims and provide value for money to the organisation· Effectively manage change, disseminate information, and ensure the organisation operates efficiently· Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures· Manage financial resources to meet organisational plans· Establish information management and communication systems· Contribute to the tendering and negotiation of contracts, proposals, and strategies· Support the development of new and existing programmes to achieve company objectives and meet market needs· Identify opportunities and address problems for the organisation· Co-ordinate, manage and review quality assurance, including rigorous annual self-assessment and production of quality improvement plans· Ensure best practice is shared across all strands of provision· Advise on strategies to improve success rates and standards of delivery· Identify improvement plans, implementing systems to boost company effectiveness· Deliver robust observation of teaching and learning that drives quality improvement· Hold high level awareness of local and national developments within the skills sector· Liaise with external stakeholders to maintain and enhance the portfolio of services· Manage the performance of teams and individuals, including target setting and evaluation· Motivate and support team members in achieving targets and raising attainment levels· Manage staff to meet organisational targets· Participate in the identification of personnel requirements and staff recruitment· Undertake staff appraisals and reviews of performance, implement improvement strategies, identify staff training needs, and share best practice· Ensure effective communications internally within and across programme areas as well as externally to employers· Build alliances and partnerships with other organisations· Undertake regular team meetings and forums to share information and ideas· Oversee the marketing and promotion of a portfolio of services· Carry out any other duties within the scope of the position as directed by the Executive DirectorOperations Director Requirements:· Strong organisational skills· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills· Strong ICT skills· Experience in leadership and management· Efficiently communicate both verbally and in written form· Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, and implementation· Strong interpersonal skills· Ability to work with and co-ordinate teams· Excellent planning, change and time management capabilities· Be innovative· Hold strong judgement and decision-making skillsBenefits:
