Job Description

Stonebridge are currently recruiting an Office Administrator for a global Insolvency and Restructuring firm based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious office administrator to become part of a global consulting business where progression and training are the firms priority!They are looking for candidates who have experience in providing general office support in a busy environment. Activities include general administration, filing and supporting the team with general insolvency appointment case work.The RoleThis is a full-time opportunity and is perfect for a candidate who has worked as an office admin in a similar environment and has an eye for detail. This role will support the Insolvency delivery team.Key Responsibilities will include.

  • Opening and scanning post received for the national Restructuring Services team;
  • Processing scanned post via an online document management system into relevant team workflows;
  • Maintaining post archives to the Restructuring Services retention policy;
  • Raising queries with the relevant team members as appropriate;
  • Dealing with day-to-day outgoing mail and insolvency bulk mailings; and
  • Maintaining records of outgoing post for onward recharge to clients.
  • In addition to the above, other duties of the role may consist of:
  • Assisting with insolvency document storage and archiving;
  • Maintaining office supply levels (stationery, paper etc);
  • Providing support for set up of client meetings; and
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the wider Restructuring Services team
  • The Background
  • Previous experience working as an office assistant;
  • Experience in managing volumes of mail at different levels of priority;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong and flexible work ethic;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Able to prioritise effectively; and
  • A confident and enthusiastic team player.
