Job Title: Key Route Network Corridor Manager - Black Country Salary range: £35,945 - £40,461 per annumHours: 36.5 hours per week Contract: Fixed term to 31 August 2022Please note: This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2022.Who we needWe are looking for a dynamic individual and a creative problem solver to join us until August 2022, to help us continue shaping our transport programme. In addition, you will be working in a highly collaborative environment to improve the day to day performance of the KRN.You will primarily be working within the Regional Transport Coordination Centre and closely with the four Urban Traffic Control Centres in the region and the Highways England Regional Operations Centre in Quinton. The role will be an essential part of the team monitoring and enhancing the performance of the KRN.You will lead on implementing a monitoring framework, examining routes to understand daily issues and problems and developing strategies for addressing these. You will also support the development of wider strategic solutions across the network to enable better performance of the transport system.The successful candidate will have proven experience in route network management including introducing measures to enhance network monitoring and performance.
