National Sales Manager - Building Products to MerchantsJob Title: National Sales Manager - Masonry Support SystemsIndustry Sector: National Merchants, Builders Merchants, Merchants, National Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Masonry Support Systems, Stone Cladding, Concrete, Concrete Framed Structures, Concrete Accessories, Structural Concrete Products, Steel Products, Fixings, Anchors, Support Systems, Building Products, Construction Sales, Civil Engineering, Façade Fixing ProductsArea to be covered: National Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + 20% bonusBenefits: executive company car & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the National Sales Manager - Masonry Support Systems will involve:

  • National Sales Manager position selling a high quality range of masonry support systems
  • Managing a team of 3 external sales people and an internal sales force
  • You will be tasked with growing each individual sales person to achieve more revenue as a team
  • Implement the strategic direction of the sales team and business through the distribution channels to increase overall profit
  • Develop national agreements with key builders merchant accounts such as: Buildbase, Travis Perkins, Grafton, Fortis etc
  • Project sectors: residential, infrastructure, non-resi, commercial, home improvement
  • Develop a package of differentiated account services which enables our client to win share of this channel for all brands and growth margins
  • Plan and implement the launch of new products
  • Will be covering nationally
    • The ideal applicant will be National Sales Manager - Masonry Support Systems with:
  • Must be able to implement strategic plans to grow the sales function
  • Must have managed and developed a sales team
  • Must have experience building national agreements with builders merchants and distributors such as: Travis Perkins, Buildbase, Fortis, Grafton etc
  • Must have dealt with builders merchants accounts worth £5m+
  • Ideally from a masonry support system background OR have knowledge of concrete support systems, structural concrete products, fixings, anchoring products, lintels, steel beams, civil engineering, concrete accessories, concrete connectors, facades fixings
  • Would consider any building product background
  • Demonstrable track record in new business sales generation
  • Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
