Job Description

Multi Utility Project ManagerEmployment type: Permanent, full-timeLocation: BirminghamSalary: £35,000-£45,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) + company vehicle + company benefitsHours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to FridayDue to continued growth, my client is now seeking a Multi Utility Project Manager to join their organisation. This role will be covering the region south of the Midlands.My client is a leading Multi-Utility connections provider, who have an enviable reputation in their field, with consistent success in the past decade.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a portfolio of schemes in the designated geographical area
  • Dealing with all aspects of site work from the initial prestart meeting
  • Prestart with developer site agents, pre-vetting plots and mains, communication with site agents
  • Ordering materials for schemes
  • Ordering of plant and road opening notices & TM for the schemes
  • Managing direct and subcontract resources on site
  • Team Audits and Quality audits to be completed on site
  • Undertake measures of work ‘on site’ and track that sheets are completed and submitted
  • Make sure Teams are completing as laids, check and return packs to CAD Collection of all paperwork in relation to operations work for submission to asset owners
  • Liaise with water, gas and elec engineering departments to arrange necessary connections / jointing
  • Close out NCRs, incident reports, in timely manner as required
    • Experience/ Qualifications/ Skills Required
  • Must be an experienced Multi Utility Agent or Project Manager who can organise and manage the completion of site works from both an HSQE and commercial perspective
  • Gas and Water SHEA
  • Hold Site management or site supervision safety certificate (SSSTS/ SMSTS)
  • SCMC water
  • Street works
  • SCO 1,2,5
  • Hold Full driving licence
