What is the role
  • As part of ongoing growth and development, our client are now looking to recruit a Commercial Underwriter/ Account Manager
  • Responsibility for Renewals and New Business within several niche commercial market sectors.
  • Working with a well-established panel of commercial insurance brokers
  • Working within a specialist team to underwrite a unique range of products
  • Hands on development of Account portfolio of brokers and specialist wholesale opportunities, maximising cross selling and up selling opportunities
  • Passionate about offering all clients exceptional levels of service
  • Working with a unique range of products for clients with outstanding levels of market support.
What are we looking for
  • Successful candidates will have knowledge of commercial insurance products and sectors
  • Whilst not essential, Insurance industry qualifications (or work towards) would be welcome
  • A self-motivated candidate comfortable working on their own to deadlines
  • Our client is looking to recruit an experienced underwriter or commercial insurance professional from another discipline looking to train to become an underwriter
  • Ambitious candidates looking for an interesting and challenging opportunity within an international business offering fabulous career opportunities!
  • The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and be adept at forming successful external and internal relationships at all levels
  • Experience of insurance industry software would be useful
