MIS Manager £60,000 - £65,000 + car allowance / company carEstablished business with a fantastic reputation in the Midlands and the UK Pertemps have been retained to recruit for a leading manufacturing, service and installation business in for an experienced MIS Manager. Paying an attractive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + car allowance / company car. Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and accomplished MIS Manager to come lead their business through development and improvement of their systems. The role will involve heading up various projects to ensure system performance is matching the needs ofthe business and that the data is secure. The role is working within a business which provides bespoke engineering solutions within retail, commercial and industrial environments. Experience working in similar engineering and manufacturing businesses will be desired for this position. The successful candidate will be able to use analytical skills to identify weaknesses and inefficiencies in the systems and come up with and implement within the budget. The right candidate will know how to manage their team as well as the third-party relationshipswith software suppliers, helping inform them of issues and ensuring they are addressed appropriately. MIS Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust management information systems to meet the companys strategic goals and operational needs.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and understand their information requirements and design solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage the full lifecycle of the MIS, including planning, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Propose deliverable solutions to address these weaknesses/inefficiencies that best meet the needs of both the customer and the system users within the provided budget.
• Ensure that all third-party software suppliers are fully informed of these weaknesses giving them the option to challenge and/or address.
• Present to the Director of Operations a list of projects that will provide financial benefits to the group and then prioritise the projects that will provide cost benefit solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization and ensure proper data entry and reporting.
• Working with Head of IT to ensure System Security, firewalls and anti-virus software are effective and up to the standard of “Cyber Essential Accreditation”.
• Conduct regular system audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimise system performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their potential benefits and applicability to the organisation.
• Working with the MIS team to ensure that the skillsets are in place to provide efficient and timely reporting tools to the operational management. This role incorporates data migration; data warehousing; interfacing to third party systems; management reportingand dashboards.

MIS Manager Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing and implementing management information systems, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

In return, The MIS manager will receive:

• £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + car allowance/car
