We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders for a central Birmingham-based manufacturing outfit, offering long term positions with overtime opportunities of time + one half, along with clean, extensive facilities, free parking and temp-to-perm prospectsfor the right individual.The MIG Welder must be experienced in working on medium gauge metal, building architectural structural products. Attention to detail/quality is of very high importance. Knowledge of Metal Inert Gas welding is essential, whilst any experience of TIG / Arc weldingwould prove helpful.Pay rates for the successful MIG Welder will be between £10.75- £11.25 per hour, working a fixed 0730-1530 shift Monday to Friday. We do have a customer base elsewhere in the local area who may also be interested in Fabrication Welders.In order to be considered for this role, all applicants must have the following attributes;- Minimum of 6 months experience in manual welding (Machine Welders need not apply)- Knowledge of MIG / Jig welding and able to work to strict daily manufacturing targets- Able to read and replicate technical drawings- Use of hand tools to clean, polish and neaten the metal once welding has taken placeIf you are interested in applying for our MIG Welder vacancy, please click to apply or alternatively email
