TIG / MIG WelderFree ParkingTemporary to Permanent contract offeredCompany Benefit SchemeOpportunity for Professional progression- Easily accessible from Birmingham city centre- Attractive pay rates of £13.55-£15.00 once fully trained, with further room for progression- Temp-to-perm, favourable day shifts and a great team environmentWe are currently seeking experienced TIG & MIG Welders (must be competent in both) for a Central Birmingham-based manufacturing outfit, offering long term positions with overtime opportunities of time + one half, along with clean, extensive facilities, freeparking and temp-to-perm prospects for the right individual.The TIG Welder must be experienced in working on thin to medium gauge metal, as the work will sometimes require a light touch and attention to detail/quality is of very high importance. Knowledge of Tungsten Inert Gas welding is essential, whilst any experienceof MIG / Arc welding would prove helpful but isnt a precise requirement.Aluminium OR stainless steel experience is essential - purely mild steel backgrounds are unlikely to be considered.Pay rates for the successful TIG / MIG Welder will be between £13.00- £15.00 per hour, operating between the hours of 0700 and 1800 Monday Friday. However we do have a customer base in the local area who would may also be interested in Fabrication Welding /more experienced candidates with a higher rate of pay on offer.In order to be considered for this role, all applicants must have the following attributes;- Minimum of 12 months experience in manual welding (Machine Welders need not apply)- Flux and Stick- Butt joints- Working from engineering drawings- Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding and able to work to strict daily manufacturing targets- Long and short runs- Welding Aluminium and/or stainless / carbon- Working on your own predominantly, upholding high standards of quality- Use of hand tools to clean, polish and neaten the metal once welding has taken placeIf you are interested in applying for our TIG & MIG Welder vacancy, please click to apply or alternatively email
