Job Description

Mechanical Engineer - BirminghamMy client a UK based multi-disciplinary consultancy who specialise in delivering property and infrastructure projects on a local and national scale are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their prosperous Engineering Team.The role will involve working under the direction of the line manager or project leader providing technical, mechanical engineering on projects from a building service perspective.Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to have an BSc or MSc in relevant discipline e.g. Civil or Mechanical engineering
  • Experience working for a UK base consultancy as a mechanical engineer completing designs for building services including pipelines, utilities and HVAC.
  • Beneficial to have a UK drivers licence and based in the local area.
You will carry out:
  • Calculations
  • Productions of detail designs of clean and waste water systems, pipelines, utility diversions and tunnelling for road and rail
  • Completing HVAC and Electrical designs
  • Amending specifications and reports
  • Liaising with clients to check project progress
