Job Description

MARKETING INTERN3 MONTH FTC - BIRMINGHAMSALARY UP TO £22,000Pertemps are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing Intern to join our clients dynamic marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of the companys marketing strategy. Thisposition offers a unique opportunity to work across a diverse range of marketing activities, contributing to our overall success and growth of the Company.Key Responsibilities: As a Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for a wide array of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to:

  1. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and sales teams to execute marketing projects that support sales objectives.
  2. Proactively plan and schedule engaging social media content to strengthen our brand presence and engage with our audience effectively.
  3. Create compelling and impactful content for email campaigns, social media, blogs, print materials, and websites to drive engagement and conversions.
  4. Design and develop templates for marketing and sales support materials, presentations, and company documents.
  5. Update and maintain content across our company websites using WordPress to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  6. Assist in the planning and coordination of summer events to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  7. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and agility in supporting various marketing initiatives.
The Person:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey our brand message and connect with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Natural creativity and adaptability in approaching marketing challenges.
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with marketing and digital management tools.
Desirable:
  • A degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in marketing principles.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or experience with WordPress, enabling you to contribute effectively to our digital initiatives.
  • Basic graphic design skills, allowing you to create visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is a plus.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro software for video editing would be advantageous.
Key Competencies:
  • Outstanding copywriting and editing skills to craft engaging and impactful marketing content.
  • Knowledge and experience in web and digital marketing strategies, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all marketing communications.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing social media plans to drive brand awareness and engagement.
