The role will focus on BJSS industry verticals: Government, Financial Services, Commoditiesand Utilities, and Retail and Consumer Goods.You will track BJSS and competitors marketplace performance and share the results with the Head of Industry and related internal teams.You will conduct analysis as required to address ad hoc business requirements and issues. In addition, you will assist with analytics (i.e marketing mix modelling) and primary research studies with consumers and customers.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for designing, conducting and managing market research studies regarding BJSS existing and proposed services and offers, as well as analysing market trends, consumer preferences and broader market opportunities.As part of the BJSS Industries team, you will assist in identifying key opportunities to build brand awareness, expand markets, drive sales and introduce the latest, most powerful insights and technology to our customers and target clients.GROWTH/INNOVATION 60%

  • Analyse and assess present and future needs, trends, challenges and opportunities related to the Industries team and BJSS
  • Use data from information systems to support the development of marketing plans and evaluate the success of marketing efforts
  • Assist with communicating with end users, focus groups, industry leaders to understand and document industry tends, capabilities, innovations and insights
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using traditional and advanced methods
  • Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations
  • Preparing and making presentations; instilling confidence in BJSS and our approach
BUSINESS AND STRATEGY DEVELOPEMENT 20%
  • Utilise industry insight and marketing processes to provide market segmentation analysis, consumer insights, needs assessment and a business and technology scan
  • Key to this will be the ability to headline and summarise the information into a "where to play" portfolio in core and adjacent BJSS industries and markets
MARKETING SUPPORT 10%
  • Participate in all aspects of marketing communications (i.e. collateral, sales decks, trade shows, thought leadership, etc.) working internally to determine needs and externally with the relevant agencies to develop strategy and supporting approaches
  • Building and maintaining a customer pipeline to assist with sales and business development
  • Use industry data to optimise and oversee industry specific campaigns
PEOPLE 10%
  • Works collaboratively across BJSS, including leadership, marketing, and engineering, to obtain the data necessary for marketplace analysis and reporting.
About You
  • Experience of working with sales, marketing, operations and/or consulting within a business and technology environment
  • Experience of at least one of the industry/sectors outlined above
  • Knowledge of a variety of different research methods; experience with online customer research a must
  • Strong writing skills; building a story from the data
  • Experience with multivariate techniques; conjoint analysis, key driver analysis
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation communication abilities
  • Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Some travel may be required due to client requirements
