The company is led by an inspirational Managing Director andbusiness owner who has a clear vision of how the company will progress.Your Rewards:- Salary of £60,000 - £70,000+ per annum- Performance related bonus- PensionThis is a terrific opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to join an industry leading company.You will be given the opportunity to join the board will provide an excellent opportunity to use technical, management, and organisational skills to make a real difference to the growth and prosperity of a business with strong expansion plans.So, if you have great leadership abilities and the dedication and drive to lead your team to success within a busy, manufacturing environment, then apply today!Your Role:As the Manufacturing Director, you will have responsibility for managing all Operational and Shop Floor activities including the co-ordination of technical, production and capacity planning elements.Utilising manufacturing and quality best practice, the Manufacturing Director will deliver continuous improvements to fulfil customer orders "right first time every time", whilst co-ordinating with the commercial and finance teams to exceed company performancetargets.About You:To be considered as a Manufacturing Director, you will need:- A minimum of five years experience within the manufacturing industry in a leadership / management role- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers- Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining shop floor improvements utilising Lean Principles, the Quality Toolset and Manufacturing Best Practice- The ability to lead and develop a team of 25+ members in production, engineering and logistics- To be well versed in production and project planning within an SME environment- To be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and deliver practical shop floor solutions to product issues- To demonstrate professional development through ongoing learning in manufacturing, quality and managementExperience of stamping, welding, laser cutting, paint lines, and low volume assembly would be beneficial to your application, as would a degree in engineering or manufacturing (or equivalent).Applications for this role are encouraged from a broad range of candidate backgrounds; you may be working in a similar Small or Medium Manufacturing Enterprise, or in a larger Engineering company.
