Job Description

Management Accountant Required - BirminghamMy client has experienced a period of growth and now requires additional support within the Finance function, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the business in a varied and challenging role. This is a hands-on role that also incorporatesall aspects of bookkeeping, Payroll, management accounts, and ad hoc business management/admin responsibilities.Suited to a rounded Finance Manager who can multitask and jump in where needed, no responsibility is beneath the ideal candidate and they are committed to encouraging the ongoing growth of the business.   • Prepare Monthly Management accounts
  • Present Monthly Management Accounts
  • Weekly reporting to Management Team
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Payroll including overtime, pensions, and maintaining records
  • VAT returns and HMRC queries
  • Credit control
  • Cashflow monitoring and Financial Forecasting
  • Assisting the management team in key decision-making
Your experience and requirements:
  • Experience in a construction or Project management firm
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Preferably holding a formal Accountancy Qualification, AAT or CIMA - Those QBE encouraged to apply
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to detail
