Job Description

Utilities/EnergyMainly Remote with occasional meetings in Birmingham£40,000 - £50,000 depending on qualification & experienceThe CompanyThis rapidly expanding, innovative group in the renewables energy market has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant to join the group working closely with the FD and directly for the Financial Controller.The Role

  • As a commercially focussed accountant you will be partnering with key stakeholders in the business taking full ownership for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting the Executive team with informative reporting on business performance.
  • This role will also give you exposure to FP&A, commercial analysis and pricing within an energy environment focussed on renewables.
  • You will advise managers of the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth, profit and control the cost base alongside supporting the Finance Director & Financial Controller to improve overall performance and efficiency.
  • You will have responsibility for the month end close and for producing management information for the Exec team.
The Person
  • A finalist (ACCA, CIMA) AAT qualified or maybe newly qualified, you will already be in industry with proven experience of putting together a full set of management accounts and working in a small team.
  • This group are experiencing significant growth and this is an excellent opportunity to join a really good team and contribute to their continued success.
  • Experience in the energy industry and some knowledge of pricing would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of Sage Intacct.
