Job Description

Our PE backed client, a leading manufacturer based in Birmingham, is undergoing a wave of expansion and is looking to recruit a Management Accountant into their close-knit finance team. Under a temp-to-perm framework, this role calls for someone: immediatelyavailable, eager to develop into a Finance Manager and looking to make a home within a business renowned for staff retention and reward.The Management Accountant will be asked to lead the month end process (inc. accruals & prepayments, VAT etc..) as well as revitalise the finance function with new and innovative process improvements. Not only this, but first class exposure is on offer asyou partner with Operations Managers as well as other stakeholders on an ad-hoc basis.Skills required:

  • Be immediately available, part qualified in CIMA/ACCA and have experience in a similar Management Accountant position.
  • Consider yourself a confident and talented communicator who can thrive independently as well as in a sociable and collaborative environment.
  • Pride yourself on your loyalty, and your ambition to progress within the company to the Finance Manager position.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables) and experience with leading accounting software.
